Tooro Golf Course – (Right Next Door!)
Consisting of 9 holes and 18 tees this historically located golf course is situated on the site of the original fort from which the town derives its name. The ruins of the fort and the surrounding trenches can still be seen and add character to an already impressive course.

With at least 60 species of mammal, including 13 species of primates,and 335 recorded species found here will do all they can to change your mind. A true gem of a National Park!
Rwenzori Sculpture Gallery and Arts (90 min drive)
Conveniently located in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains at Kyemihoko Village, near Kasese, the gallery is establishing itself as an exciting new attraction for the visitors to the area. Unique to East Africa, the Gallery always has a stunning display of sculptures on show, including works carved in Ugandan marble and soapstone and bronzes cast on site in the adjacent workshops. A series of over thirty Clan Totem animals in bronze have been specially commissioned for the centre and capture the magnificence of iconic species such as Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Colobus and Hippopotamus amongst others.
Semiliki Valley National Park (90 min drive)
Situated in a remote corner of south western Uganda, Semliki National Park protects an eastern extension of the vast Ituri Forest and forms part of a forest continuum that stretches across the Democratic Republic of Congo to the Zaire River. Two hot springs are situated in a tract of hot mineral encrusted swamp land, where visitors can see a two meter jet of hot water and a pool (12m diameter) of oozing boiling water easily hot enough to boil eggs for lunch.
Queen Elizabeth National Park (90-120 min drive)

Rwenzori Mountains National Park (90 min drive)
The third highest peak in Africa and seven of the top ten, with some of the most beautiful terrain on Earth, ranging from stunning waterfalls, formidable swamps and spectacular glaciers. With one day treks leaving from Kilembe at 8.30am and returning at 3pm this is one of the more specialist trips to be done in the region with the trek taking you along the Munyamubuli River through some of the most pristine forest in the country.
